HELP OUR BISHOPS PREPARE FOR THE SYNOD
PRIESTS INVITING PRIESTS TO WITNESS TO THE DIGNITY OF MARRIAGE AND FAMILY LIFE
Easter Sunday 2015
Resurrexit sicut dixit, alleluia!
SIGN TODAY
As Catholic priests we commit ourselves anew to the task of presenting the teaching of the Church on marriage in all its fullness, while reaching out with the Lord’s compassion to those struggling to respond to the demands and challenges of the Gospel in an increasingly secular society. Furthermore we affirm the importance of upholding the Church’s traditional discipline regarding the reception of the sacraments, and the millennial conviction that doctrine and practice remain firmly and inseparably in harmony.
For purposes of expressing our faith to our Bishops and the Synod Fathers we are collecting the signatures of priests who are willing to support the statement herein (see STATEMENT tab). Only your names will be published and distributed (see "Maintaining the integrity of this list" under the SIGN THE STATEMENT tab). Your names and addresses will be used only for communicating our limited purposes. We expect this to be an ad hoc organizational effort in preparation for the upcoming Synod in the fall of 2015. We aim to be respectful and clear in our views.
